Ditch followed her to the tunnel, then shook his head in frustration. He had to find a way to follow her. A tunnel!, he thought. There's always something above a tunnel. He looked up to see a dense side above him. It was steep, too steep for the doe, but he could get up it, and he did. He climbed up the side with his legs burning and his sides heaving, desperate for air. Eventually he reached the other side, he guessed this is where the doe was heading.

The does little tunnel forked at one point. He won't catch me now will he She thought. The tunnel went into a place that was unfollowable. The groth on both sides to thick to be followed thourgh. Her body acked from crawling. She rested laying down for a while.

Ditch stopped waiting, the doe was taking so long. He thought that this place was where she would arrive. It was blocked in by stone walls surronding him, but it was full of dense foliage. Trees were tall and green, bushes lush and full while the small plains were calling him, waving in the breeze. He headed to the meadow and started grazing.

Night fell and Ditch still didn't see the doe. He decided he wouldn't find her at night and settled down to sleep, weary of his long, dragging day.

Ditch jumped to his hooves. "Who's there?" he growled, then recognized the doe's scent. "You again. Are you finally going to tell me your name?" he asked.

Ditch was taken back. "I saved your life from a cougar, and I don't deserve a name? A simple name?" he wasn't afraid of bears. He faced many before, and held the scars to prove it.
